A two-car crash temporarily closed two lanes of the southbound side of the Gold Star Memorial Bridge Wednesday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred around noon about half a mile before Exit 84. Because of construction, the bridge already is operating with just three lanes open, so the closure of two of them quickly caused traffic to back up.
At 12:30 p.m., all lanes of the bridge had reopened, but residual congestion remained.
Use caution in the area.
