Norwich, New York police to play fundraiser hockey games Saturday

Norwich – Norwich, Connecticut and New York City police will take to the ice Saturday for a hockey doubleheader at the RoseGarden Ice Arena, 641 New London Turnpike, Norwich, to raise money for organizations locally and in New York.

In the first game starting at noon Saturday, the Norwich Police Hockey Club will play the NYPD Alumni Team. In game two, Connecticut Blues Hockey Club will face off against the NYPD Hockey Club.

Tickets are $10 for anyone age 13 and up, and children age 12 and under will be admitted free. Proceeds will benefit Norwich youth athletics and the NYPD PBA Widows’ and Children’s Fund.
