Norwich — City police are investigating a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Norwichtown area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Police said they received numerous reports of vehicle burglaries that occurred between 8 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday, most of them involving unlocked vehicles.

Police are seeking assistance from the public in solving the cases.
