Morning crash slows traffic on I-395 in Montville

Montville — A two-car crash forced crews to close the left lane of Interstate 395 north Monday morning, the state Department of Transportation reported.

A DOT alert said the crash happened between exits 6 and 9 just before 8:30 a.m. Traffic at one point was backed up for more than a mile.

By 9 a.m., all lanes had reopened but some residual congestion remained.
