Update: Motorcyclist injured in crash on Waterford's Route 156
Waterford — A motorcyclist was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital Wednesday with injuries after a crash that temporarily closed state Route 156 in front of the Waterford Community Center.
The motorcyclist's injuries were not life threatening, police said Wednesday evening.
The closure spanned from Boston Post Road to Avery Lane and lasted about an hour.
Those needing to enter or exit the high school used Miner Lane during the closure. Officers were in the area to assist with traffic flow.
