Markel Lamont Varner, 24, of 370 Asylum St., Norwich, was charged Friday with second-degree breach of peace and two counts of threatening.

Daniel G. Gibson, 37, of 23 Sharon Road, Mystic, was charged Thursday with illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence, driving while under suspension, failure to have head lamps and failure to drive in the proper lane.

Rachelle L. Hodges, 47, of 34 D St. was charged Thursday with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain lane, misuse of high beams and improper number of stop lights.

Michael E. Acoff, 26, of 59 Boulder Drive, New London, was charged Thursday with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving while under suspension and failure to have minimum insurance.

Michael J. Gorton Jr., 31, of 31 Shore Drive, Waterford, was charged Saturday with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to obey control signal, stop sign violation, passing in a no-pass zone, failure to signal turn properly, interfering with an officer, attempted assault on a police officer, traveling too fast, making a restricted turn and failure to obey officer's signal.

Ryan Richmond, 28, of 834 South Road, Wakefield, R.I., was charged last Thursday with weapons in vehicles and possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana.

Hector L. Hernandez, 20, of 1051 Poquonnock Road was charged Oct. 16 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court.
