Lawrence Asselin, 48, of West Springfield, Mass., was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to wear a seat belt and driving while using a handheld device.

Christian S. Siveira, 19, of 11 Shawandassee Road, Waterford, was charged Saturday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Matthew C. Scaplen, 23, of 76 Society Road was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

James N. Joseph, 48, of 312 Flanders Road was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving without an ignition interlock device and failure to carry minimum insurance.

Jocelyn Barton, 25, of 93 Depot Road, Uncasville, was charged Friday in North Stonington with interfering with an officer and possession of less than once half ounce of marijuana.

Elias Jamison, 25, of no certain address, was charged Friday in Groton with theft of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, possession of narcotics and being a fugitive from justice.

Anthony J. Marshall III, 42, of 90 Avery Hill Road, Ledyard, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Cindy Perkins, 45, of 334 Greenhaven Road, Pawcatuck, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license and driving without minimum insurance.

Mark R. Suchy, 35, of 3 Chase St., Pawcatuck, was charged Sunday with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.

Matthew Simpson, 27, of 1039 Poquonnock Road, unit 203, Groton, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, child endangerment while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, crimimal violation of a protective order and failure to drive right.

Kyle Aguiar, 32, of 44 Kenyon Road was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license.
