New London woman arrested after allegedly pointing gun at someone
New London — Police arrested a city woman on gun charges Wednesday after receiving a report that she pointed a gun at someone, the New London Police Department said Thursday in a news release.
Sharisol Vincent, 34, of 79 Garfield Ave. Apt. 2F, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, possession of a high-capacity magazine and breach of peace, police said.
Officers responded to the area of Bank Street and Shaw Street about 11:49 a.m. Wednesday and made contact with a woman, later identified as Vincent, based on a provided description.
Police said they seized a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun with 15 rounds of ammunition.
