Man dies in motorcycle crash in Griswold

Griswold — A 28-year-old man died from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident early Tuesday in Griswold, state police said.

Police said the motorcycle, driven by Isaac Todd Watson of Mansfield Center, was traveling north on Glasgo Road. The motorcycle was going around a left curve just north of the North Stonington town line when the motorcycle "lost control and came to an uncontrolled final resting position in the middle of the roadway."

Police said the driver was ejected and sustained fatal injuries. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead on scene.

Police said the incident, which happened about 12:22 a.m. Tuesday, is under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to call Troop E at (860) 848-6500.
