Man found dead in New London, police investigating
New London — A man was found dead inside a home in New London on Monday, according to police.
The New London Police Department responded to a home at 95 Colman St. about 7:07 p.m. Monday and found a man, who has not yet been identified, dead inside the home.
Police have not released the man's age or notified his next of kin as of Tuesday morning.
A cause of death had not yet been determined. Capt. Brian Wright with New London police did not say whether there was any evidence of a shooting or stabbing, but said there "was nothing extraordinary" about the crime scene. The investigation was ongoing, he said.
No further information was available as of 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
