Police release identity of man who died in New London triple shooting

New London — Police on Wednesday publicly identified the victim who was killed in a triple shooting here earlier this month that also left two other men wounded.

The shooting took place at 20 Home St. about 11:33 p.m. Nov. 8, according to the New London Police Department. Markus Wright, 23, of Bridgeport died at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, where he was transported with the two other men for treatment of gunshot wounds, police said.

The shooting is still under investigation, police said Wednesday. They did not release any further details.
