Man stabbed in New London
New London — A man was stabbed Thursday morning at a home in New London, according to police.
Police were called to a home in the area of Montauk Avenue and Orchard Street at 10:29 a.m. for a reported stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a 48-year-old man bleeding from the upper part of his body, according to the New London Police Department.
The man was seriously injured and was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital. His injuries weren't believed to be life-threatening, police said.
Officers canvassed the area around the home but had not located a suspect as of 2:30 p.m. The investigation was ongoing.
