Police issue alert for missing Montville man

Montville — Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 55-year-old town man.

Police said Matthew Lamothe went missing earlier in the day Tuesday.

Police said he has gray hair and brown eyes, is 6 feet tall and weighs 215 pounds. He was last seen wearing a winter or baseball hat, black Cahartt jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gloves and operating a 2010 black Ford F150 truck with Connecticut registration 2815CX.

People with any information on his location are asked to contact the state police at Troop E at (860) 848-6500.
