Norwich — A Bozrah man is dead after a Friday morning motorcycle crash on Interstate 395 south at Exit 13.

State police said Jadon Edward Nicholson, 21, died at Backus Hospital, where he was taken by ambulance following the 6:06 a.m. crash.

State police said Nicholson was negotiating the sharp curve from Route 2 east to I-395 south when the motorcycle fell onto its right side and skidded across the connecting ramp and southbound lanes of I-395, colliding with the median guardrail.

The crash closed the highway for three hours and caused traffic jams on the highway and on city roads through the Norwichtown area. The state police collision analysis and reconstruction squad assisted with the investigation.
