Stonington police investigating gas station robbery

Stonington — Police responded to an armed robbery Wednesday night at 66 Whitehall Ave. in Mystic.

No one was injured in the incident, which took place at a Mobil gas station.

Police responded to the scene shortly before 10 p.m. Police Capt. Todd Olson said police were seeking two males, one of whom displayed a firearm and demanded money. The store clerk complied.

Olson said nobody had been charged as of 11 p.m. Wednesday and the investigation was continuing. He said there were no updates to the case as of Thursday evening.
