Cheshire — Top scholar-athletes from each of the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference’s 176 member high schools will be honored Sunday at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington. The guest speaker at the event will be former UConn men’s basketball great Emeka Okafor.

Local honorees are: Bacon Academy, Grace Gorreck, Ryan Moores; East Lyme, Sophia Seguin, Brendan Fant; Fitch, Luca Ursini, Charlotte Cabral; Grasso Tech, Reynaldo Hidalgo, Sophia Byrne; Griswold, Daniel Sims, Summer Millette; Ledyard, Jess English, Ben Fieldsend; Lyman Memorial, Aria Nowosad, Ryan Miller; and Montville, Kate Aspen Bowman, Brendan James Duhamel.
