Outlook: The Saints have struggled with numbers in recent seasons, but that won’t be a problem this season. Roan is a returning ECC All-Star, but St. Bernard also welcomes Britner, who won the ECC Division III-IV championship in the 3,200 in the spring and joins the cross country program this fall. “We should be competitive in Division III this year,” Rosas said.

Key returnees: Brady deCastro, Collin Scherer, Emerson Baltrukonis.

Outlook: The Bears are rebuilding following the loss of ECC champion Ryan Gruczka, who went on to place ninth in the State Open and was named The Day’s All-Area Athlete of the Year. “The boys are excited to compete and I’m sure they will have a ton of individual success,” Chapman said.
