Mystic’s Devillers tops list of local Boston Marathon finishers
Matthew Devillers of Mystic ran his way into the top 100 with a strong showing at the 128th running of the Boston Marathon on Monday.
Devillers, a 35-year-old from Mystic, crossed the finish line in 88th place overall with a time of two hours, 27 minutes, 54 seconds.
He was the top local finisher at the prestigious event.
He averaged 5:39 per mile and completed the first half of the race in 1:12:25.
