    H.S. lacrosse: Page leads NFA girls to victory

    Windsor — Molly Page scored seven goals and had two assists as NFA beat Windsor 16-4 in a nonleague game on Friday.

    Alice Rourke had three goals and three assists, Hayleigh Young had two goals and an assist, Leah Burchman scored twice and Alex Tabilas and Savannah Guernsey scored goals for the Wildcats (6-2).

    In other games:

    • Alexis Antonellis had three goals and Sydney Goulding had two goals and two assists as Old Lyme beat Old Saybrook 8-6 in a Shoreline Conference game. Ella Curtiss Reardon had a goal and an assist, Avra Montzella made eight saves and Maya LeQuire and Anna Bussman scored goals for the Wilscats (6-1, 5-0). Clare Cassella and Kendall Dobratz scored two goals each for Old Saybrook.

    In other games:

    • Emma Logel had five goals and Shay Burnside three goals and one assist for Stonington in a 15-4 win over Bacon Academy on Thursday. Zoe Flynn added two goals and an assist for the Bears (5-5 overall, 4-2 ECC Division II), who led 11-2 at halftime. Lanie McIlduff scored all four goals for Bacon (0-5, 0-4).

    • NFA defeated Griswold/Norwich Tech 17-2 Thursday, getting five goals and two assists from Molly Page and four goals and one assist from Alice Rourke. Hayleigh Young added three goals for the Wildcats (5-2) and Leah Burchman had two. Sienna Caron and Brooke Valentine each had one goal for Griswold/Norwich Tech (1-6).

    • Waterford lost to Hand 12-7 in a nonleague game on Thursday. Victoria Sturm and Sadie Tiven had two goals and an assist each, Quinn Brigham had a goal and an assist and Clara Mahoney made nine saves for the Lancers (6-1).

    • East Lyme lost to No. 4 Greenwich 14-0 in a nonleague game on Thursday. Brielle Rheaume made five saves Penelope Lawlor had four ground balls and two draw controls for the Vikings (3-5).

    Boys

    • Noah Courter had seven goals and two assists in St. Bernard/Wheeler’s 17-11 victory Thursday over Norwich Free Academy. Mark Sauchuk added three goals and four assists, Ben Howes and Will Sluggett each added two goals and Johannes Zachhuber made 16 saves for St. Bernard/Wheeler (5-2). Logan Jenkins had four goals and Gavin Jenkins added three to lead the scoring for NFA (4-6).

    • Jameson Pirro had three goals and an assist to lift Bacon Academy past Waterford 9-2 Thursday. Troy Johnson finished with two goals and an assist and Ethan LoVetere one goal and three assists for Bacon (5-1). Griffin Neal scored twice for Waterford (2-6).
