    Winter Cabaret Series returns to O’Neill Center in Waterford

    The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford has announced the lineup for its second Winter Cabaret Series, which will take place Dec. 13-17.

    It is once again programmed by Grammy and Emmy award-winner John McDaniel, artistic director of the O’Neill’s Cabaret & Performance Conference.

    The 2023 Winter Cabaret is as follows:

    • Jeff Harnar in “Homeward Bound: Songs of the Season” (Dec. 13): New York cabaret and concert artist Harnar taps into a diverse selection of holiday favorites and surprises to paint a portrait of the nostalgia, hope, yearning and joy of the season. The featured songwriters range from Irving Berlin and Jule Styne to Billy Joel and the Beatles. At the piano is Christopher Denny.

    • Christine Pedi in “Snow Bizness” (Dec. 14): Features SiriusXM radio personality and music theater performer Pedi (“Chicago,” “Forbidden Broadway”).

    • Debbie and Sam Gravitte in Concert (Dec. 15): Tony Award-winner Gravitte performs with her son, Sam Gravitte, a recent Fiyero in the Broadway musical “Wicked.” With McDaniel at the piano.

    • Darius de Haas in “Let Me Carry You This Christmas” (Dec. 16): Celebrate the season with a veteran of Broadway, The National Symphony, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall.

    • Karen Mason and John McDaniel in “We Need a Little Christmas!” (Dec. 17): Broadway veteran Mason (“Sunset Boulevard,” “Hairspray,” “Mamma Mia!”) joins forces with McDaniel.

    Performances will take place at 7 p.m. in the Rufus and Margo Rose Barn Theater. General admission tickets are $40, and table seating is available at a higher price.
