The 79-year-old’s show — dubbed “Tony Orlando: The Finale, A Memory Forever” — is the last of four given at Sun properties. (There were two at Fallsview Casino Resort and one at Resorts Casino Hotel.)

Tom Cantone, President of Sports & Entertainment for Mohegan, said in a statement that the Sun was honored that Orlando chose the Sun for his last live performance. He added, “It’s now time for us to give him a standing ovation for entertaining over 100,000 fans at Mohegan Sun over the years, something that only Billy Joel has done …”

Orlando, in his statement, called the Sun Arena his “favorite venue on Earth” and praised Cantone and the Arena crew and staff and thanked “my friends within the Mohegan Tribe for making me feel like family.”
