A Waterbury restaurant owner has been arrested and charged with murder following a shooting outside his business early Saturday.

Michael Anderson, 61, was charged with murder, first-degree reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a firearm after a shooting outside of Mikey’s Jamaican Restaurant on East Main Street in Waterbury.

At about 1:40 a.m. Saturday, police found a 28-year-old man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound outside the restaurant, which police said is owned by Anderson.
