A winner 11 times in Mass Cash lottery

One Mass Cash ticket buyer bought 11 winning tickets on the same day earlier this month. The lucky ticket buyer, Judi Devine of North Attleborough, won the $100,000 prize 11 times on June 9.

In total, 13 winning tickets were sold at Hilltop Stop Convenience Store in Plainville, which is located at 56 Washington St. Another was sold at Allstar Liquors in Worcester, located at 261 Lincoln St. And the final ticket was sold at Montvale Mobil in Stoneham, which is located at 96 Montvale Ave.

Although the tickets won earlier this month, Devine only came forward to the Massachusetts State Lottery on Friday.

It is not uncommon for lottery players to buy multiple tickets with the same number, including for Mass Cash, which "offers the best odds of winning $100,000 of any of our games," the Lottery said.

It's been a good month for Mass Cash ticket buyers.

During the same week, 11 other Mass Cash tickets won the $100,000 prize.

Other lottery winners from across the state were announced in the past few months.

Last month, a man was experiencing trouble with his washing machine. That's when Kuldip Singh of Woburn and his daughter decided to go to the laundromat, the lottery said. While waiting for his laundry to finish, Singh purchased an instant ticket.

He won the $1 million prize in the Mass. State Lottery's "$1,000,000 Cash Wheel" instant ticket game.

In April, a Springfield man said he was using his $1 million prize money to pay off his grandmother's mortgage. Many other winners from April said they are now looking to buy a new home.

MassLive created a database for all prizes in 2020 that were $100,000 or more.

Nearly 200 people won $1 million or more from the Massachusetts State Lottery last year, including prizes of up to $15 million.
