    The Remote

    The Ellen DeGeneres Show

3 p.m., NBC (check listings)Kids, I am not making this up: Ellen DeGeneres is now following me on Twitter (are you following me on Twitter? If the answer to that is no, then what the heck are you waiting for? It's twitter.com/TheRemoteTheDay). And it's the real Ellen DeGeneres, not one of those Internet idiots who snag someone else's name and pretend they are them. So, I can check that off my list of things to do.

So You Think You Can Dance

8 p.m., FoxOK, now it's a two-hour show? Now, when we just want to cut to the chase and have Jakob crowned King Of All Things? Good heavens.

    The Sing-Off

8 p.m., NBCNot sure if you caught my blog yesterday on theday.com (and if you did not, what the heck is wrong with you?) but wow, did this disappoint in its debut on Monday. Terrible. Horrible. Even by fourth-place NBC standards.

The New Adventures of Old Christine

8 p.m., CBSMolly Shannon alert! Molly Shannon alert! Tonight, one of our favorite former SNL-ers plays Christine's neighbor. And she throws a Christmas party. At which the booze flows and Christine learns a secret. All of which gives me great hope that this will be really funny. The Amy Sedaris cameo last week? Not so much.
