New York (AP) - Premium cable TV channel HBO is offering online viewing of its movies and TV shows to its subscribers.
The cable network said last week that it has partnered with Verizon to offer its FiOS video and Internet customers access to the site. The service will be expanded to include other subscription TV operators. Comcast Corp. unveiled a similar service in December. The site will offer more than 600 hours of programming.
"HBO Go" is part of efforts by the industry to let subscribers watch programming wherever they want on Internet-connected devices.
