Hygienic sends out 'Mixed Signals'

"Mixed Signals" is the new exhibit going up in New London's Hygienic Art Galleries. The opening reception takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, and the show features resident photographer Pola Esther, as well as artists such as Brian Keith Stevens, Mattias Lundblad and Mundy Hepburn.

A word to the clever: prepare to wear 3D glasses for this one. The Hygienic is at 79 Bank St., New London. Show runs through June 29. Hours are 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon-3 p.m. Sunday; (860) 857-6337, hygienic.org.
