New London hosts boat show

New London is debuting a new summertime event: an in-water boat show.

This weekend, the city's Waterfront Park will the filled with exhibitors showing off all sorts of boats - from 15 to 60 feet - and boat-related items, from equipment to electronics.

More specifically: Boats Inc. will show off the new R23 outboard-powered day boat, and other dealers will be doing their in-water displays, from Louis Marine to Captaineer to Thames Yacht Club to Mystic River Marina.

And, yes, the public can go onboard the boats.
