Ledyard — The Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on July 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex to discuss a wastewater facilities plan.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the public is invited to talk informally with the project team about the plan until the public hearing begins at 6:30 p.m. It will include a presentation of the plan, followed by an opportunity for public comment.
The plan evaluates the sewage collection and treatment needs of the town for the next 20 years and recommends infrastructure enhancement projects to address those needs. Such a plan is required by the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and is available for review at the Town Clerk’s Office, Bill Library and Gales Ferry Library.
Comments or questions on the plan can be addressed to Planning Director Charlie Karno at email@example.com, or by mail, postmarked no later than Aug. 12, to Planning & Development Department, 741 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT, 06339.
