There’s a clear shift in the mood of a night out when a waiter takes up a votive and lights its candle. Now, instead of small votives with lit wicks lined up down the curving spaces of a set table, bonfires will create this same effect down the Pawcatuck River, enhancing the mood of the Pawcatuck Westerly downtown Saturday for River Glow.

So now that the mood has been set, what’s on the menu? Live music, a steel drum band, belly dancers, fire jugglers, hay rides, rock walls, henna and hair braiding, face painting and airbrush tattoos, shopping specials, food specials, and as always, all of the local spots, too, open and ready for business by the fire light.
