UPDATED: Man's body discovered in wood chipper in Stonington

Stonington — A man's body was discovered in a wood chipper on Ogden Farm property following a 2:55 p.m. 911 call on Thursday, police said.

According to police, the caller said the man partially had been pulled into the wood chipper.

Stonington Police Capt. Todd Olson said the man's death appears to be the result of an accident.

Ogden Farm is located at 117 South Anguilla Road, according to police.

Stonington Police and the state medical examiner currently are investigating the case.

The identity of the victim is not being released until notifications of family have been made, police said.
