"Hamilton" star Leslie Odom, Jr., and his five-piece band will perform pop and jazz standards, along with tunes from his Broadway roles, when Odom headlines Long Wharf Theatre's 2018 Gala on June 4.

Odom, who won a Tony for playing Aaron Burr in the original cast of "Hamilton," also won a Grammy as a principal soloist on "Hamilton's" original Broadway cast recording. He starred alongside Johnny Depp and Judi Dench in the movie "Murder on the Orient Express" last year. He was Sam Strickland on the NBC series "Smash" and has a recurring role as Reverend Curtis Scott on "Law & Order: SVU."

His debut solo album, "Leslie Odom, Jr.," was released in June 2016 on S-Curve Records and hit #1 on the Billboard and iTunes Jazz charts.

The gala will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring a sampling of foods. Odom will perform at 8 p.m. on the Claire Tow Stage in the C. Newton Schenck III Theatre at Long Wharf in New Haven. The evening’s festivities conclude with a dessert reception.
