    Saying thank you with a quilt

    Groton — The Quilts of Valor Foundation honored five veterans, all residents at the Solstice Senior Living center, during a ceremony Thursday at the center.

    Quilts of Valor is a nonprofit foundation that presents veterans with a handmade freedom quilt to honor them for their service and sacrifices.
