Waterford police: Man involved in car accident found with tainted heroin

Waterford — Police on Friday said they found a man who was involved in a Thursday accident in the Crystal Mall parking lot to be in possession of about 10 grams of fentanyl-laced heroin.
Bradley A. Lopez-Nieves, 26, of no certain address was charged Thursday with evading responsibility, reckless driving, driving without a license, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lopez-Nieves fled the scene of the accident, according to police, but later was arrested.
Lopez-Nieves was being held on a $10,000 bond.
