    Remembering 'Red October'

The La Grua Center Lecture presents Captain James Patton, who will discuss the making of the film "The Hunt for Red October" on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 5 p.m.

Shortly after his retirement in 1985, Capt. Patton was asked by the senior submariner in the Pentagon if he would be the technical advisor to Paramount Pictures for the writing of the script and subsequent production of the movie "The Hunt for Red October." He agreed, and will share his experiences behind the scenes, on the set and in the writer's room with attendees.

This event is open to the public and free of charge. Donations accepted. For more information, visit lagruacenter.org.
