    New London police arrest three on drug charges

    New London — Police on Wednesday arrested three men on drug charges as part of an operation conducted with members of Connecticut State Police's Statewide Narcotics Task Force East.

    Seized were brass knuckles, around 6.6 grams of heroin, small amounts of cocaine and crack cocaine and $1,228, police said Thursday in a new release.

    Richard Ocasio, 34, of 576 D Shennecossett Road, Groton, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school.

    Jason Rios, 37, of 55 Eastern Ave., Apt. 2, New London, was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle without a permit.

    Cullen Faulise, 22, of 5 Mystic Ave., Pawcatuck, was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics.
