Groton marks the tenth year of its annual Fall Festival with Saturday's event hosted by the Groton Business Association  of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce.

Visitors will have plenty to see and do at Poquonnock Plains Park. They can watch artists and crafters show what they've made, and some will be displaying their skill. They can see a Life Star Helicopter, kids can participate in Touch a Truck, and they can see animals from Mystic Aquarium and the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. Local businesses and organizations will display exhibits, and groups such as Simply Enchanted Entertainment, Mini Cheerleaders, and Big Bear Tree will perform. Groton's fire departments, meanwhile, will mark Fire Prevention Week with displays and vehicles.

Groton Fall Festival, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Poquonnock Plains Park, 150 Fort Hill Road, Groton; rain or shine; free; mysticchamber.org/groton-business-association.
