Robin Williams does stand-up at Mohegan Sun
Robin Williams on "Homeland"? Not as outrageous as it sounds. Howard Gordon, who is the "Homeland" showrunner, has said that he'd like Williams to do a cameo in the drama's third second.
Here is Gordon's quote to Britain's Daily Mail Weekend magazine: "Robin loves the show and we talked about the possibility of him appearing on it. How that'll pan out, though, we don't know yet. We heard Mick Jagger was a fan too."
In the meantime, Williams has been filming a movie called "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn" - which recently required Williams and co-star Mila Kunis to take a dunk in the East River. Yes, the real, actual East River.
We're hoping he's gotten a Silkwood shower between then and when he brings his stand-up to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday. What else to expect? You can bet he'll do a guffaw-inducing set marked by stream-of-consciousness creativity because, hey, he's Robin Williams.
