Tracy Morgan performs at Mohegan Sun

Tracy Morgan has been popping up on TV a fair amount lately. He presented an award at the Emmys and then appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” as “LaDonald Trump.” He was in a full Trump get-up and said, with typical Morgan-esque blasé attitude, “It’s a hilarious new character I’m doing, just go with it.”

He debuted a new series earlier this year, too. He starred in “The Last O.G.” on TBS, alongside It Girl Tiffany Haddish. Morgan plays a guy who recently got out of prison and is flummoxed by how much life and his old Brooklyn neighborhood have changed during his time away. Haddish plays his former girlfriend. “The Last O.G.,” which was co-created by Jordan Peele, has a second season coming up.

Morgan might be a TV star (besides "The Last O.G.," see “30 Rock,” “Saturday Night Live,” and his recent Netflix special, “Staying Alive”) but he’s also someone who continues doing standup comedy. And that’s what brings him to Mohegan Sun on Saturday. He’ll do a show in the Uncas Ballroom.

    Tracy Morgan, 8 p.m. Saturday, Uncas Ballroom, Mohegan Sun; $39, $49; 1-800-745-3000.
