It’s a weekend of dance at the Garde Arts Center, courtesy of Eastern Connecticut Ballet.

On Sunday, ECB dancers will perform “Ballerina Swan,” an adaptation of the children’s book by Allegra Kent with original choreography by ECB Artistic Director Gloria Govrin. It’s about a swan who dreams of becoming a ballerina.

Saturday features “The Magic Doll Shop,” where ECB’s youngest dancers perform. Later on Saturday is ECB’s Spring Showcase, in which all ECB students have the chance to participate.
