Malloy responds to arrest of TicketNetwork CEO

Hartford (AP) — Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy says his administration is examining the state's relationship with TicketNetwork Inc., following the recent arrest of its CEO, Donald Vaccaro.

Vaccaro, of Glastonbury, faces a hate crime charge after police say he made a racial insult at an Oscar party.

Last year, Malloy announced TicketNetwork would receive state tax credits in exchange for creating jobs. Malloy told reporters Tuesday that the offer to TicketNetwork Inc., hasn't been finalized. He said his focus is on retaining and creating jobs. The governor said his general counsel, along with the state commissioners of Consumer Protection and Economic and Community Development will examine the state's options.

Vaccaro said Monday his approach to life and work are inclusive and the reported comments don't reflect his values. Vaccaro's spokesman said Tuesday he has no new comment.
