Shoreline Gymnastics of Old Saybrook competed at the Northeast Invitational at Trinity College in Hartford on January 19th and 20th.

All Prep Opt teams were represented. The novice team included Cate Coppes (Old Saybrook), Hope Femia (Old Lyme), Tyra Finkeldey (Old Saybrook), Chole Folts (Essex), Julia Jensen (Killingworth), Riley Nelson (Old Lyme), Ella Page (East Lyme), Rachel Reed (Old Saybrook), Catherine Saucier (Waterford) and Abigail Walton (Madison). Strong individual performances on vault included Ella Page (first) and Tyra Finkeldey (tied for first); bars Rachel Reed (tied for third); beam Ella Page (first); and all around Ella Page (first).

The intermediate team included Sarah Cartelli (Ivoryton), Grace McLaughlin (Old Saybrook), Grace Eekhof (Madison), Isabella Donohue (Old Saybrook), Saige Deveau (East Lyme), Cassi Morrison (East Lyme), Caroline Petchark (Waterford), Grace DeVries (East Haddam), Caroline Crowell (Ivoryton), Jordana Castelli (Essex), Tammi Welge (Old Saybrook) and Anastasia Muckle (Old Lyme). Strong individual performances on vault included Tammi Welge (first); Grace Eekhof (second); Grace DeVries (second); Jordana Castelli (third); bars Caroline Crowell (first); Anastasia Muckle (second); Grace McLaughlin (third); and Tammi Welge (third); beam Sarah Cartelli (first); Saige Deveau (second); Grace DeVries (second); Caroline Crowell (third); floor Sarah Cartelli (first) and Grace DeVries (tied for second); and all around Grace DeVries (first); Sarah Cartelli (second); and Caroline Crowell (second).

The advanced team included Noelle Bergere (Madison), Caroline Mecca (Colchester), Mayana Holland (Old Lyme), Meg Lavin (Madison), Brianna Hanley (Old Saybrook) and Olivia Pugliese (Old Saybrook). Strong individual performances on vault included Mayana Holland (first) and Caroline Mecca (second); beam Noelle Bergere (first); floor Noelle Bergere (first); and all around Noelle Bergere (second) and Caroline Mecca (third).

Levels 4, 5 and 6 were also represented. The Level 4 team included Ella Ferrucci (Essex), Madeline Fraser (East Lyme), Helena Gernhardt (Old Saybrook), Abigail Maynard (Waterford) and Emily Smith (Clinton). Strong individual performances for Level 4 on vault included Abigail Maynard (first); bars Helena Gernhardt (tied for second); and floor Helena Gernhardt (tied for third).

The Level 5 team included Megan Cravinho (Old Lyme), Megan Kapij (Old Saybrook), Madeline SanMarco (Madison) and Amanda Rowe (Waterford). Strong individual performances for Level 5 on vault included Amanda Rowe (second).

The Level 6 team included Addison Marchese (Essex), Elizabeth Cravinho (Old Lyme), Alexandra Bishop (Old Saybrook), Haley Smith (Clinton) and Makenzie Mahar (Pawcatuck). Strong individual performances for Level 6 on vault included Elizabeth Cravinho (first); bars Elizabeth Cravinho (third); beam Makenzie Mahar (third); and floor Alexandra Bishop (tied for third).
