Hartford roundtable for women in science and technology
A roundtable on women in science, technology, engineering and math occupations will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Legislative Office Buiilding in Hartford.
The discussion, co-sponsored by the Connecticut Women's Education and Legal Fund, the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, the Connecticut Department of Labor, and the U.S. Dept. of Labor Women's Bureau.
Participants are asked to come prepared to discuss both obstacles to - and solutions for - the recruitment, retention and success of women in these male-dominated fields. The roundtable will be held in Room 1-A. To register, contact Denise Proventud at dproventud@cwealf.org or at 860-247-6090.
