Celebrate East Lyme marks its 14th year and showcases all its popular elements on Saturday, from the inventive sand castle competition at Hole in the Wall Beach in the morning to the glittering fireworks display over Niantic Bay at night.

In between, visitors can peruse vendors' tables - with more than 200 creative, community and business figures on hand - and can listen to live music. They can stretch their way through free yoga classes, zoom and zing on the carnival rides on St. John's Green, or test their stomach's expansiveness at Giuliano's Bakery Monster Eating Competition. They can try to dunk First Selectman Paul Formica at the dunk booth benefitting the American Heart Association, or they can take in paddle board demonstrations hosted by Three Belles Marina at Hole in the Wall Beach.
