There's probably no downside to the exploding craft beer phenomenon. More breweries open every day — sometimes nine or 10 in an hour in the same zip code! — and the skill, recipes, cool T-shirts, clever brand names and overall thirst-quenchiness is all for the greater good of the human race.

In this spirit, the second Foxwoods on Tap Craft Beer Festival takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the casino's Premiere Ballroom. Over 70 breweries will be on hand, proffering samples of 120 different brews. Music is provided by The Noble Impoverished, the act that won the 2017 Foxwoods Battle of the Bands competition.

Oh, and if you want even more fun, spring for the VIP ticket. It provides an extra hour of tasting, as well as swag such as a food voucher and commemorative hat.
