Four SNL comics take the stage at Mohegan Sun Saturday

    Jon Lovitz (Willy Sanjuan, Invision/AP)

Enjoy hitting two birds with one stone? How about four? That’s what you’ll get if you make it to Mohegan Sun’s “Veterans of SNL” Saturday, where four — yes, four — former "Saturday Night Live" comedians are set to take the stage. In no particular order, that will include comedy heavyweights Jon Lovitz, Darrell Hammond, Chris Kattan and Finesse Mitchell. Organized so that each comedian will have his own stand-up time in the spotlight, we're expecting Saturday's show to deliver on a perfect combination of classic-"SNL" humor and fresh, new material.

Jon Lovitz, cast on "SNL" from 1985 to 1990, is best known for his characters Tommy Flanagan of the Pathological Liars Anonymous, Hanukkah Harry and The Devil. He has appeared in numerous films since his "SNL" years, which include “Big,” “A League Of Their Own,” “The Wedding Singer,” “Rat Race” and “The Benchwarmers.”

Darrell Hammond, known as the longest-serving cast member on the show, impersonated over 107 celebrities during his 14-year stint from 1995 to 2009. Some of those performances included renditions of Bill Clinton, Sean Connery, Regis Philbin, Dan Rather and John Travolta.

Chris Kattan, another long-time cast member (1996-2003), is also remembered for his characters Mango, Mr Peepers and one of the Butabi Brothers opposite Will Ferrell.

As for Finesse Mitchell, his impersonations of 50 Cent and Morgan Freeman during his 2003-2006 "SNL" stretch were also unforgettable, as was his character Starkeisha.

Veterans of SNL, 8 p.m. Saturday, Mohegan Sun Arena; $29-$39; 1-800-745-3000.
