Following is a capsule look at the Class of 2019:

His teams have won 11 Eastern Connecticut Conference titles. He retired from the cross country and indoor track programs in 2015, but is beginning his 22nd season as the boys' outdoor track coach, where he has guided the Indians to three state titles and a 214-108 record. He was named the the state's 2016-17 Outdoor Track Coach of the Year and is a finalist for the association's 2019 national award.

    • Matt Burdick was an All-ECC performer in baseball (as a pitcher) and basketball, where he would graduate as the program's career scoring leader (1,306 points). The Indians would share the ECC title during his senior year, and he would go on to enjoy a Hall of Fame career at Saint Anselm College where he averaged 17.1 points and 8.4 rebounds over four seasons. He was named team MVP twice and all-conference three times. He graduated in 1982 as the school's all-time leader in scoring (1,782 points), field goals made (695), field goal percentage (.559), free throws attempted (694, still a record), games played (104) and minutes played (3,509). He was named a Division II All-American in 1982.

    • Shawn Bennett is the most decorated male distance runner in school history. He won a pair of ECC titles in 1981 and 1982 and was an ECC all-star all four seasons while winning the 1982 Class M title when the Indians won their only boys' state cross country championship. He finished fifth in the State Open in 1981 and sixth in 1982, the highest finishes to date by a male athlete. On the track, he still holds the outdoor 5,000 record (15:35). He attended Brandeis and was a member of the Judges' 1983 NCAA Division III national championship team.

    • Teri Bruce enjoyed a record-setting four-year girls' basketball career, lettering all four seasons while earning ECC all-star recognition three times. She still holds single-game records for points (45) and blocks (15), and her 1983 team won an ECC title. She graduated from Amherst College.

    • Taylor Lewis was one of the best two-sport athletes in school history. He earned three varsity letters in football and was named an ECC all-star three years while rushing over over 1,200 yards in both his junior in senior seasons. In baseball, he was a four-year letter winner, three-time ECC all-star and two-time Class M all-state pick. His teams would win three ECC regular season titles, an ECC tournament title and the 2006 Class M state title. He went on to become a three-year starter at Maine, where he was an All-America East pick in 2010 when he set the school single-season record for triples (13) while batting .369 with 53 runs, 21 stolen bases and 52 RBI. He was chosen as the America East tournament's Outstanding Player in 2011 when the Black Bears reached the NCAA tournament. He spent four seasons in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization and is currently an assistant baseball coach at Clark University.
