Man possibly drowns in boat incident off Sandy Point
Stonington -- A man was taken to Westerly Hospital late Sunday morning after possibly drowning in a boat incident off Sandy Point.
Police had no details about the man's condition later Sunday.
Police said people on the island performed CPR on the man and brought him to Walkers Dock after the 10:57 a.m. incident. They were met by a Stonington Ambulance crew and Lawrence + Memorial paramedics who brought him to the hospital.
