Stonington — The crew of the Lady Lynn, a lobster boat based out of town, was preparing at the Town Dock on Wednesday for an upcoming trip.

Some members were checking equipment to see if it needed any repairs while others were stringing bait.

Ron Pray of Westerly was among them. "This is my favorite part of the job," Pray, a second generation lobster fisherman, said of the prep work. "It's the most peaceful part."
