This week marks the happy return of one of the region’s popular traditional events: the North Stonington Agricultural Fair.

Welcome back all the familiar aspects of this fair. On Saturday, for example, there’s a wide variety of offerings — rabbit show and pedal tractor pull, kids parade and pie-eating contest, horseshoe pitching and working steer show.

The fair is sponsored by the North Stonington Community Grange and the North Stonington Volunteer Fire Department.
