Two friends get an ice cream break in Mystic

Mystic — Samantha Buttitta of Wayne, N.J. and Christiana Carrillo of Stratford were enjoying ice cream cones in the parking lot of Olde Mistick Village after eating lunch in the shopping center Wednesday.

The friends, students at Providence College, are on their summer break and were traveling from Cape Cod to Stratford. When traveling in this area, they often stop at the village because it's their favorite spot to eat.
